In 2010, eight schools from the Wide Bay Area (Biggenden, Bundaberg SHS, Bundaberg North SHS, Bundaberg Special School, Kepnock SHS, Gin Gin SHS, Isis District SHS and Rosedale SS) along with Bundaberg TAFE College – formed a partnership and through a successful submission received $11.8 million dollars in funding from the Commonwealth Government’s Trade Training Centres in Schools Program.
