Bundaberg SHS offers a Student Resource Scheme(SRS) as an economical alternative for the provision of high quality resources for their students. This is a flat fee for each cohort, with subject fees calculated on an individual basis.
Participation in the scheme is optional, however before you make your decision, please read the contents of this document to see how you will benefit from the scheme. Parents who choose not to participate, will be required to provide all
resources as outlined in the 2020 Subject Resource List, which can be found on our website, or a hardcopy provided from the Cashier window.
The Queensland Government provides a Textbook Allowance to the school your student is enrolled at on the last Friday of February. This amount is used to offset the cost of the SRS for parents. Parents who choose not to participate in the SRS,
are entitled to have this allowance refunded to them to assist with the cost of purchasing resources. In 2019, the annually indexed amounts were $127 for students in Years 7 to 10 and $276 for students in Years 11 and 12.
