Tuesday Art Group (TAG)
TAG (Tuesday Art Group) is an opportunity for Art students to extend themselves and work with staff outside of class. From 2:35pm to 4:00pm the art rooms will be open for use by current art students for curriculum related artworks, art homework and written assessment.
This is an excellent opportunity for art students to make use of both the art facilities and equipment for an extended time and to also get individual, personalized assistance from the art teachers. Students attending will be from all year levels so they will be exposed to artworks of many different types and styles, with the aim of broadening their horizons and experiences.
Due to the nature of art, students, especially senior students, are often unable to complete artworks entirely during class time and it is a school and art department expectation that either homework and/or assessment be completed in student’s own time. Students, especially bus students, sometimes find it difficult to take assessment home with them for various reasons. TAG has been created to accommodate these students and any student who would like to spend that little bit of extra time on their art.
